Northstar Ski Resort is around an eight-minute drive away, while Secline Beach and Kings Beach are both within easy reach.

* No pets are allowed at this home, so you'll need to make alternative arrangements for any four-legged companions.
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. You'll have two parking spaces on the driveway, so there's no need to worry about street parking.
* Winter road conditions can be challenging, so four-wheel drive or snow chains may be required between November and March.
* The deck furniture and barbecue are only available between May and October – they're stored away from November through April due to snow. If you're visiting in winter, alfresco dining won't be an option.
* If you're planning to barbecue, note that charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in the county – the deck barbecue uses a different fuel type, so check with your host before bringing your own equipment.
