* You'll find two parking spaces in the driveway in front of the home – straightforward if you're arriving in one or two standard-size vehicles.
* If you're visiting between November and April, note that the deck furniture, gas grill, and fire pit are stowed away for the snow season, and you may need four-wheel drive or snow chains to reach the home.
* The wood-burning fireplace and fire pit are great in the colder months, but neither comes with wood included – you'll need to source or purchase firewood locally before you arrive.
* No fires are permitted in Lake Tahoe from April until the first snowfall of the year, and charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in the county.
