Known as the capital of the New Forest National Park, it is a great base from which to explore the scenic landscape on foot or bicycle, as well as learning more about the history of the area at the heritage centre. Lyndhurst boasts quaint Tudor-style buildings and a host of friendly pubs, local shops and boutiques.
