The surrounding area offers a variety of country walks, including Ham Hill Country Park (4.5 miles). Shopping opportunities can be found in the towns of Yeovil and Crewkerne, both 5 miles away, Sherborne (10.5 miles), Ilminster (12 miles) and Chard (12.5 miles). Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, where you can visit the iconic seaside town of Lyme Regis (20 miles), or West Bay (18 miles) with its harbour and beach. Visit Sherborne Castle (11.5 miles), Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum (13.5 miles), Haynes Motor Museum (18 miles) and the National Trust s Barrington Court (11 miles) or Montacute House (3.5 miles).
