An area perfect for explorers, within easy reach of the Wye Valley Way and the Forest of Dean. Hire a canoe and take time to enjoy the river (Hoarwithy, 2 miles). A trip to one of the many market towns is a must, where you can pick up local produce from a farmers' market or browse the independent shops. Hay on Wye, Ross on Wye, Monmouth, and Leominster all welcome you with an eclectic range of independent shops, and are all within 25 miles. Set within the grounds of a small holding and surrounded by countryside, take some time to enjoy the views as you approach the shepherd s Hut. Each of the huts has been thoughtfully positioned to make the most of the spectacular views, enabling you to sink into a soft bed after a day of exploring, curl up with a good book, or sit out in the evening with a glass of something local. Inside, the owners have continued to offer simple touches of luxury to enhance your stay. The kitchen, finished with colourful crockery, offers everything that you may need during your stay, along with a table for two. For a peaceful night s sleep, there is a cosy double bed with soft linens and blankets. A spacious shower room offers a shower and WC. Relax and unwind within your private garden. The four seater picnic bench is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening meal. There is a fire pit with a swing arm for cooking, perfect for barbeques and toasting marshmallows whilst star gazing. Ample logs will be supplied and more will be available to purchase.
