Just a short stroll from the beach, this home is perfect for a getaway on the Gulf Coast. You'll have easy access to an array of on-site amenities – we're talking communal pools, playgrounds, and boardwalk piers. Chances are you'll be out making the most of the resort, but there's plenty of room to relax when you're back home. The whole family can get cosy in the living area, teenagers can claim the downstairs den, and little bookworms can curl up in the reading nook. Last but not least, you'll find decks with lake views – the perfect setting for an alfresco tipple or two.

Home truths:
*The fourth bedroom has a king bedroom, two lofted singles, and a bunk bed. This room is best for children.
*You'll have access to the resort gym, swimming pools, athletic courts, playgrounds, pier and fishing pavilions, on-site restaurants, and more here. They're shared with other guests. You'll also have access to the neighbouring resort, 1.5 miles away.
*The smart TV has a live TV feature, but it is not cable.
*The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
*Construction work may be ongoing in the area from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and on occasional Sundays. Be prepared to experience some noise during your stay.
*Your host provides a two-day starter supply of essentials like dish soap, toilet paper, toiletries, and paper towels. There are stores a short drive away where you can top up on supplies.
