Part of a resort community with plenty of activities on offer, you'll have everything you need here to soak up the sunshine. Venture over to one of the communal pools, gather around the communal fire pits, or sprawl out on the beach – it's just a short walk away. The lake is the perfect backdrop for dinner and drinks on the balcony. There's a large living area and a separate snug inside, so you can spread out or unwind together. Factor in the bedrooms – including a main suite for parents and bunks for kids – and it ticks all the boxes.

Home truths:
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a daybed with a pull-out trundle. We think this is best for children.
*There's parking in the carport, as well as storage for beach gear.
*You'll have access to the resort gym, swimming pools, athletic courts, playgrounds, pier and fishing pavilions, on-site restaurants, and more here. They're shared with other guests.
*The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
*Construction work may be ongoing in the area from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and on occasional Sundays. Be prepared to experience some noise during your stay.
*Your host provides a two-day starter supply of essentials like dish soap, toilet paper, toiletries, and paper towels. There are stores a short drive away where you can top up on supplies.
