Paris & Patisseries

Tucked into the 11th arrondissement, this cosy apartment puts you in one of Paris's most lived-in neighbourhoods – local cafes, patisseries, and boutiques are right on the doorstep, and Metro lines 9 and 5 are just outside, making the rest of the city effortless to reach. Place de la Nation is a short walk away for those who want to stretch their legs without jumping on a train. Back home, the bedroom is calm and well-considered, with air conditioning keeping things comfortable when the city heats up.

Home truths:
* This home isn't suitable for infants or children.
* At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. At 27 m², this apartment is a snug fit for three people. We think two guests will be most comfortable here – when the sofa bed is open, space for luggage and moving around becomes tight.
* You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
* Key collection requires a short walk from the apartment, though your host is happy to meet you directly at the door if you arrange it in advance.
* The lift is small – useful for getting luggage up to the fifth floor, but worth bearing in mind if you're not a fan of small spaces. There are also a few steps on the fifth floor once the lift doors open before you reach the apartment.
