Just around the corner from the Palais Garnier, and a short walk from the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, it's an unbeatable choice for a cultural stay. On the third floor of a charming Haussmannian building – above a boulangerie, no less – this apartment has a chic, understated style in keeping with its surroundings. At a pinch, two guests can sleep on the sofa bed, though couples will find the size more than big enough – and the kitchenette will come in handy for preparing snacks and drinks before a night at the opera.

*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and a high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*This home is on the third floor of a building with no lift, so we don't recommend it for guests with reduced mobility or those with heavy luggage.
*There's limited counter space in the kitchen. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Although this home can sleep four, there's only seating for two at the dining table.
*As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
*While there are no in-unit laundry facilities here, you will find communal washing machines and dryers within the building.
*Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
