On the fourth floor of a quiet residential building, this art-filled apartment overlooks a private courtyard – a respite from Paris's bustle. The dining room doubles as a library and music space, making it as suited to longer work stays as it is to a cultural break. Argentine and Porte Maillot metro stations are a five-minute walk, connecting you quickly to the city, while the Arc de Triomphe is a ten-minute stroll and the Champs-Élysées is reachable on foot in twenty-five minutes.

* This home is only available to those studying or travelling for work – you’ll need to provide proof from your university or employer.
* There is no lift in the building, and the apartment is on the fourth floor – around eighty stairs up. It is worth packing light if you can.
* At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. It's worth mentioning to your host in advance if you plan to use it – though we think space may feel a little tight with it in use, so we'd suggest a maximum guest count of two.
