Local Paris Haven

If you’re after a more local take on Paris, this spot works well. You’re near Butte-aux-Cailles, one of those neighbourhoods that still feels like a village, with small bars, independent cafés, and a slower pace than central Paris. It’s a good base for dipping into the main sights too, with the metro a short walk away. The apartment itself is compact but cosy, with a sofa bed in the living area if needed. It’s not about standout design, but it covers the essentials and puts you in a part of Paris that feels more lived-in than touristy.

*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.

*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.

*There's a small kitchen here. We think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

*The only bathroom here is an en-suite off the main bedroom – at full occupancy, privacy may be limited.

*If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. The metro station is a five-minute walk.
