Ancient timber beams arch over a bright, modern living space in this apartment at the heart of the 1st arrondissement – a part of Paris where history presses in from every direction. The Louvre is a four-minute walk, the Jardin des Tuileries is equally close, and three metro stations within five minutes put the rest of the city well within reach. Back inside, the kitchen and dining area sit beneath those same beams, and air conditioning keeps things comfortable whatever the season. Pets are welcome, and a cot is available for families.

* Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.

* You're right in central Paris, so we recommend leaving the car at home and making the most of the excellent metro connections on your doorstep.
* As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
* While this home can accommodate two additional people on the sofa bed, the maximum occupancy is two guests.
* Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
* Keys must be collected from a nearby location rather than at the apartment itself. Collection is available Monday to Saturday until 9:30pm, and on Sundays and public holidays until 7:30pm, so plan your arrival time accordingly.
