Sitting in the heart of Le Marais, this apartment looks out over the Place de la Bastille from the living room – a slice of Paris history framed right from your sofa. Natural light fills the living space, making it an easy place to decompress after a day on the streets. Place des Vosges and Maison de Victor Hugo are both a five-minute walk, while Marché d'Aligre – one of the city's most spirited food markets – is fourteen minutes on foot. The main suite has its own bathroom and a dedicated desk, and a trundle bed in the third bedroom makes the apartment a practical pick for families.

* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* The third bedroom has a single bed and an additional pull-out single bed, sleeping up to two people. We think this room works best for children.
* If you're travelling with little ones, a cot is available on request.
* As is common in France, one of the toilets is separate from the bathroom.
* Parking here can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
