A Touch of Vintage: Paris
addremove
Located in Paris’ Ile de la Cité, this quirky apartment puts you in a prime position to explore Notre Dame, the Marais and the Latin Quarter. Exposed wooden beams and stone walls nod to the home’s 18th-century past, while unusual features like a round double bed and a piano certainly make it a memorable stay. There’s not much in the way of a view here and the home isn’t the brightest in our collection. But with an unbeatable location close to countless historic and cultural hotspots, this pad ticks a lot of boxes.
Home truths:
*The home is on the ground floor of a building with a shared entrance. The home faces the building opposite so lacks total privacy as well as a view, and there's not an abundance of natural light here either.
*There's a sofa bed in the living area for more flexible sleeping arrangements. While the home can sleep up to four people, the maximum occupancy is two guests.
*The decor here might not be to everyone's taste. The bedroom has an unusual round bed and the interiors feel a little dated in parts.
*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. That said, we think the best way to see the city is on foot.
