A short drive will take you to the beaches at Brighstone Bay, which are popular for fossil hunting and surfing. This area is also a haven for keen walkers and cyclists, with nearby footpaths leading to Brighstone Downs and the renowned Tennyson Trail, which links Carisbrooke with The Needles. The National Trust owned Mottistone Manor is also close by, where you can explore the idyllic gardens. Take the short path from the parking area to the entrance of this terraced property.
