Luchana Reverie

This home is a calm, arty apartment in Chamberí's Trafalgar barrio, with ornate plasterwork in the dining room and balcony light flooding the living space. There's a dedicated office for anyone mixing work with the trip, and four king-size bedrooms mean groups of up to eight can stay without compromise. The Iglesia and Bilbao metro stations are both within walking distance, putting the rest of Madrid easily within reach – and Plaza de Olavide and the restaurants of Calle de Luchana are right on the doorstep for evenings closer to home.

Home truths:
* One of the four bedrooms is cooled by a fan rather than air conditioning, so it will feel warmer than the others on hot nights. If you'd prefer a cooler room, it's worth flagging to your host when you book.
* Madrid's Chamberí neighbourhood is lively and residential, so some street noise from Calle de Luchana is possible, particularly in the evenings. It's part of the neighbourhood's character, but worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.
* This host requires your check-in to be within 3-5 days from when the last booking ends. If you are unsure if your dates will work or need help finding alternatives, please contact our Matchmaking Team.
* Your host operates several homes here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
