Curl up on the sofas, in front of a roaring fire, or whip up dinner in the fully kitted-out kitchen. The living space has an open layout, to keep everything sociable, and you have a lovely terrace outside in the walled orchard garden – perfect for barbecues on fine days. From here you can see across the field for miles.

It's just a five-minute walk from the village pub and you can walk straight down to the river from your door. Drive to Ullswater in around twenty minutes for some water sports, or to Appleby in a little over ten.
