Burnham Overy Staithe is a small but bustling coastal village with a creek side harbour and salt marshes with channels out to sea. The staithe itself is just a short walk down the lane. There are plenty of lovely villages and towns to visit nearby, including Burnham Market, Holkham home to the vast Holkham Estate, and Burnham Thorpe, the birthplace of Nelson. The popular towns of King s Lynn and Holt are within easy driving distance.
