The village itself is only a few miles from both Coniston Water and Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy boat trips and many water sports. For hillwalkers, the Coniston mountains with their fascinating copper mining history, provide a range of climbs and there is walking and biking from the doorstep, as well as mountain biking trails in the neighbouring Grizedale Forest. The village itself is full of charm, with quaint shops and cafes and a choice of traditional pubs serving lunch and evening meals. Stepping into the front door, you are welcomed into the immaculate open plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is amply equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm and make clearing away a breeze. Enjoy a social evening meal at the dining table before retiring in the lounge. With comfortable and cosy furnishing, you are free to spend your evenings relaxing in front of the wood burning stove whilst catching up on your favourite series. Downstairs on the lower ground floor is the king size bedroom, a spacious room with its own private bathroom across the hallway.
