Back at the cottage, the lush landscaped courtyard draws you outside: a heated pool with a fountain, a covered outdoor kitchen for alfresco evenings, and balconies on multiple levels for catching the coastal breeze. Five bikes are included to help you roam Rosemary Beach and Seacrest, with community pools, a fitness centre, and a racquet club rounding out the options.

Home truths:
* The home spans three floors, so you'll be using the stairs regularly – worth bearing in mind if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.
* During sea turtle nesting season – 1st May to 31st October – you'll be asked to keep balcony and porch lights off at night and draw the blinds so as not to disorient hatchlings making their way to the water.
* You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens from the home aren't permitted to be taken outside except for laundering.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
