Covered porches invite long mornings with coffee and sea air, while the large backyard offers room for alfresco evenings under the coastal pines. The third-floor king suite sits quietly apart from the main living areas – a retreat at the end of the day. Bikes are included for exploring the cobblestone streets, and access to four community pools, including the adults-only pool open until 10pm, means there's no shortage of ways to unwind.

Home truths:
* It's worth noting the driveway only fits a small car. Additional parking on the street is on a first-come, first-served basis.
* You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens from the home aren't permitted to leave the property.
* There's a double bed in the living room rather than in a dedicated bedroom – worth bearing in mind if you're travelling as a group of eight and need everyone to have their own room.
* This home is due to undergo renovations from August 2026 – we'd recommend confirming the situation with your host before booking.
* Between May and October, sea turtle nesting season is in full swing on these beaches. You'll be asked to turn off balcony and porch lights at night and draw the blinds so hatchlings aren't disoriented on their way to the water – a simple step that makes a real difference.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
