A pellet stove keeps things warm when the temperature drops, and with Diamond Peak Ski Resort under a mile away, you're close to the slopes.

Home truths:
* One of the bedrooms sleeps four guests in a single-over-double bunk bed and a pull-out single bed – we think it might be best suited to children.
* Note that there is no central air conditioning here – cooling and heating come from individual mini-split units in each main room rather than a single system.
* A car is essential here – there is no direct public transport in the neighbourhood, and nearby beaches, golf, and most dining require a drive. In winter, you may also need 4-wheel drive or snow chains.
* The covered carport has a 7-foot clearance and fits two vehicles.
* Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from the owners' closet.
