The wrap-around balcony off the main suite looks out over rolling fields – the kind of view that makes an early morning worthwhile – while the terrace below is made for long lunches in the open air. On cooler evenings, a log burner pulls everyone into the living room, and the range cooker makes the kitchen a sociable place to land. Southwold and the Heritage Coast are a fifteen-minute drive away.

* Due to the open pond, this home welcomes babes in arms and children aged 8 and over.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for up to five cars plus overspill along the driveway.
* While there's no air conditioning here, your host can provide fans for the warmer months.
* Two small dogs over 6 months old are welcome to join you here. Please note that the boundary is not completely dog-proof, and dogs will need to be kept on a long lead when outside.
* You might find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time, though the wi-fi is strong and stable.
