Description Idle Waves: Boca Raton

Positioned right on the Intracoastal Waterway, this Boca Raton apartment makes it easy to slow down – boats drifting past the screened balcony, the heated pool and hot tub looking out over the same stretch of water. South Inlet Park is a five-minute walk away, and Mizner Park's dining and shops are within easy reach on foot. Back inside, a grand piano in the entrance hall adds an unexpected note of elegance to what is otherwise a relaxed, coastal retreat – one that works just as well for a long weekend as an extended stay.

Home truths:
* You're well placed to explore on foot – Mizner Park, the beach, and local shops are all within easy walking distance, and Uber is available for evenings out.
* Parking can be tight during busier periods and it's worth confirming the correct spot with your host before you arrive.
* Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.
