Description Boca Palms: Boca Raton

A second-floor apartment on the Intracoastal waterway in Boca Raton, with a private balcony looking down over a resort-style pool framed by palms – and the daybeds and fire pit one flight below are yours to use whenever the mood takes you. Lake Boca Raton and South Inlet Park are a five-minute walk away, and the beaches at South Beach Park and Red Reef Park are less than a five-minute drive. Mizner Park, the city's open-air hub for dining, shopping, and the arts, is well within reach too.

Home truths:
* The living room sofa converts into a queen bed, so if you're travelling as a group of three or four, one or two guests will be sleeping in the shared living space rather than a separate bedroom. Worth considering when you're planning who sleeps where.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. Request these in advance to make sure everything is ready for your arrival.
* Pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.
* There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
