Description Boats on Boca: Boca Raton

Sitting directly on the Boca Raton Intracoastal Waterway, this apartment puts the water front and centre – watch yachts drift past from the enclosed balcony, the living area, and even from bed in the main bedroom. Outside, the shared waterfront pool sits right at the water's edge, with a gas barbecue and fire pit area alongside it for evenings when the boats are still moving and the light is good. South Inlet Park and beach access are a five-minute walk away, and Mizner Park's dining and galleries are just minutes further.

Home truths:
* You'll find free parking on the premises, so bringing a car is straightforward – and with Spanish River Park and Red Reef Park best reached by a short drive or bike ride, having one will help you make the most of the area.
* The fitness centre is in the sister building next door rather than within the apartment building itself, so you'll step outside to reach it.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
