Every bedroom opens onto its own ocean-view terrace, and the living room – stone floors, high ceilings, two sofas turned towards the sea – carries that same sense of uninterrupted outlook. Outside, a heated infinity pool with a built-in bar stretches along the edge, perfectly placed for watching the sun drop into the water. Home truths:
* Three of the four bedrooms are on the upper floor, reached by a spiral staircase – worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with guests who have limited mobility.
* You're on the heights of Gustavia rather than at sea level, so you'll need a car to reach the beach, restaurants, and shops. Your concierge can arrange a rental before you arrive.
* Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
