Designed by architect Patrick Raffeneau with carved wooden furniture and driftwood-inspired details, this villa in Saint-Barthélemy earns its reputation quietly – through a heated pool framed by coconut palms, terraces made for long lunches, and a private pathway that leads directly to Anse des Cayes beach. Two upper-level bedrooms catch the ocean breeze from their own terraces, while the other two open straight onto the pool deck. Daily housekeeping, a 24/7 concierge, and on-request services from private chefs to yoga teachers mean the only real decision is how you want to spend the day.

* Anse des Cayes is a quiet residential beach on the north side of the island, away from the main town of Gustavia and the busier St-Jean strip. You'll want a hire car to reach restaurants, shops, and the island's other beaches comfortably.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
