There are plenty of great walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal, just minutes from your door, as well as the Ridgeway and Savernake Forest, just a thirteen-minute drive away. The Wootton Rivers village is within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you’ll really be spoilt for choice with so much to see and do. Evenings are best spent with a glass of wine by the fire or sitting in the garden watching out for the barn owl that often swoops by the Chapel – and it's certainly big enough for a dog too. Original features include a solid oak arch door, arch windows and an exterior wall clock, which give this home oodles of character and charm, meaning you'll enjoy cosy nights in at this home feeling the bucolic calm. But if you feel like stretching your legs, the village has a 16th-century thatched pub that you'll be able to walk to in around three minutes.
