The four-poster main bedroom, with its vaulted beams and marble fireplace, sets a quietly luxurious tone, while the private hot tub terrace – ringed by aspen trees – is the obvious place to end the evening. A lower-level suite with its own sitting area means larger groups can spread out and breathe.

Home truths:
* Ski-in, ski-out access here applies during peak winter season and is weather-dependent – in quieter or shoulder periods you may need to walk or shuttle to the slopes rather than ski directly from the door. The on-mountain ski season typically runs from late December to mid-February at its most reliable.
* The home shares a connecting door with the neighbouring unit, so noise from next door can carry.
* A starter set of consumables – soap, paper products, dish and laundry detergent, and similar basics – is provided on arrival. Once those run out, restocking is down to you, so it's worth picking up extras in town if you're staying for a longer trip.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There is driveway parking here for two vehicles.
