Home truths:
*Parking in Venice is tricky, so we recommend using public transport. The apartment is well placed for walking and has easy vaporetto (water bus) connections.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear the chimes of the church bells and the songs of the gondoliers.
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. The home is best suited for four, but can host up to six for shorter stays.
*The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
