Cenote & Palms

Three private houses wrapped around a central infinity pool in Tulum's quiet La Veleta neighbourhood – this villa is built for large groups who want the run of a place entirely to themselves. The pool sits at the heart of everything, with the living space opening straight onto it and several bedrooms close enough that a morning swim takes no planning at all. A complimentary concierge handles the details – transfers, a private chef, excursions – while Gran Cenote and the Tulum Ruins are a thirteen-minute drive, and Tulum Beach is a forty-minute walk along the coast.

Home truths:
* Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request.
* To keep the air conditioning running efficiently, your host asks that you keep doors and windows closed when it's in use.
* Tap water in Tulum is not safe for drinking or cooking, so your host provides purified water for use during your stay.
* The pool is not heated, so water temperature depends on the weather – given Tulum's climate, it's rarely an issue, but worth bearing in mind if you're visiting in cooler months.
* You'll have three on-site parking spaces, which may not cover every vehicle if your group arrives in multiple cars – worth coordinating transport in advance for larger parties.
