Step out onto the deck after a day's skiing and the private hot tub earns its keep – views of the course and peaks stretching out ahead of you. Inside, pine forest fills the living room windows, and a wood-burning fireplace does the rest. A complimentary on-demand shuttle stops at the door, linking straight to the village and ski lifts, while a recreation centre access adds a communal lap pool and shared outdoor hot tubs to the mix.

* One of the bedrooms has two bunk beds that can sleep up to four people – we think it might be best suited to children.
* The home sleeps up to ten but only has seating for eight at the dining table.
* The shared lap pool and shared outdoor hot tubs are typically closed in April–May and September–November. Check availability before you travel if these amenities are important to your trip.
* The barbecue on the deck is only available during the summer months.
* While there's no air conditioning here, your host can provide fans for the warmer months.
* Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking for up to four cars on the driveway. Winter driving conditions can be challenging, so 4-wheel drive or snow chains may be necessary.
