This characterful home offers more than Lake Como views (though the panoramas are certainly a highlight). Descend the stone steps to the lush garden, and you'll find hidden spots for alfresco meals and drinks, as well as the highlight – a pool terrace facing the lake and mountains. A separate annexe offers more private quarters – ideal for older kids who value their independence – while in the main house, colourful art, books, and games make this a cheerful space to gather in the evenings. Though you're just a fifteen-minute drive from Como, Torno itself is worth a wander – visit the Romanesque church and enjoy a lakeside meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

*This home comprises a main house with two bedrooms and an independent annexe with one bedroom and a small kitchenette. While this home can accommodate two additional guests in the annexe, the maximum occupancy is four guests.
*While the annexe bathroom isn’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*One garage parking space is included here. Torno is also accessible via boat from Como.
*You'll need to climb a steep staircase to reach the entrance to this home. There are further steps inside the home and the gardens, so we don't recommend it for guests with reduced mobility.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between May and October. Please note that it isn't fenced.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free on request.
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.
*Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 11pm and 7am.
