Romance Reef

Positioned almost directly on Smith's Reef – widely regarded as the best snorkelling in Turks and Caicos – this villa puts one of the Caribbean's great underwater experiences a short stroll from your door, with Grace Bay Beach just beyond. Back home, the pool terrace is the natural gathering point, whether you're cooling off mid-afternoon or watching the light shift over the bay at dusk. The top-floor main bedroom catches trade winds and frames a partial view of the marina and sea – a quiet, breezy retreat ideal for a couple's getaway.

Home truths:
* The living room has a sofa bed, making the villa workable for up to three guests – though the home is designed with couples in mind and there's just one main bedroom.
* The bedroom sits on the top floor with partial views of the marina and sea, but this home is one lot back from the beach rather than directly on it – you won't see the ocean from the living areas.
* A starter supply of paper products is provided on arrival but won't be replenished, so it's worth picking up extras on your first grocery run. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler are typically on hand, but aren't guaranteed – worth confirming with your host before arrival.
* Mid-week housekeeping services are provided once for bookings of 7 nights or more.
