Badgers Sett is a wonderful, single-storey lodge resting in Winston near Staindrop, Durham. Hosting one king-size double bedroom and a shower room, this property can sleep up to two guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen and sitting room with gas fire. Outside there is ample off-road parking and a front garden with furniture and a hot tub. Badgers Sett is a lovely dwelling for a romantic getaway to the this scenic region of Durham. Please be aware due to remote location WiFi can occasionally be intermittent service.

Area
The attractive village of Staindrop is home to the historic landmark of Raby Castle, which is renowned as the grandest in the whole country. The colossal building makes a great day out, with a 200 acre deer park whilst here. The village of Staindrop hosts an array of shops, pubs and cafes along the village green area. The market town of Barnard Castle is nearby with its wonderful castle and the Bowes Museum for an insight into the town's past.
