Perched at the end of a private road above the wild bay of Anse des Lézards, this villa earns its place through the view alone – a sweep of Caribbean blue that greets you from the pool, the covered dining area, and the bedrooms alike. The split pool, with its shallow end for lounging and deeper swimming section, sits on a teak terrace open to the trade winds, while inside, a high vaulted great room slides open to meet the outside. Anse des Cayes beach is a short walk away, and daily housekeeping keeps things feeling effortless.

Home truths:
* The third bedroom is smaller than the others and shares a bathroom with one of the two main bedrooms. It's best suited to children rather than adults. The fourth bedroom is located in an independent bungalow, arranged like a small studio apartment with a bathroom and a kitchenette.
* The villa is built across two levels, with the pool terrace and lower outdoor spaces sitting below the main living area – you'll be moving between levels regularly during your stay.
* Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
