Perched into a hillside above Flamands Beach, this colonial-style villa earns its place in St Barths with views that sweep across the Caribbean to Bonhomme island, Fourchue, Saint Martin, and Anguilla. The heated pool terrace is where you'll spend entire afternoons, and the covered outdoor dining terrace – built from weathered wood and open to the ocean below – makes evenings effortless. A fully glazed upper-level living room frames the same blue horizon, while the main bedroom wakes you to water and island hills. Flamands Beach itself is a short walk away.

Home truths:
* The villa is built across three levels connected by stairs – there is no lift. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, it's worth factoring in the level changes before you book.
* The two bedrooms on the middle level share a bathroom between them, so if you're booking for three couples or a group of six, bear in mind that some of your party will be sharing.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a cot, high chair, and babysitter on request.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
