This villa in Flamands is built around one of St-Barthélemy's more enviable outlooks. Here, the Caribbean spans out beyond the pool, with the rolling green hills in every direction. A waterfall pool with cushioned sunbeds anchors the terrace, while a covered dining area lets you stretch lunch into the afternoon with a warm breeze and that panorama for company. The bedrooms are calm and considered, the two on the main level waking you with sea and hillside views through open glass doors. A dedicated concierge team and daily housekeeping mean very little admin stands between you and the island.

Home truths:
* The villa spans three levels and the four bedrooms are spread across all of them – two on the main level, one on the lower level, and one on the lowest level accessible directly from the parking area. You'll be using the stairs a lot, especially if the group is spread across different floors.
* A 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended here. The villa sits on the heights of Flamands, and the roads in this part of St Barts are steep and winding. We recommend arranging a suitable rental car before you arrive.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
