Inside, the vaulted whitewashed ceiling keeps things bright and breezy, while the upper bedroom opens directly onto a wooden deck framed by lush St Barths vegetation. Daily housekeeping means the practical side of the stay takes care of itself.

* The twin beds in the second bedroom can be converted into a king – let your host know in advance if you'd prefer that configuration.
