You'll stay just outside the town's bustling centre, a short walk from its restaurants and harbour, and close enough to the train station to make day trips a breeze. There's enough separation between the bedroom and living space for this studio to feel roomy, and though you won't get a sea view from the balcony, it's a sunny spot for sundowners – the kitchenette is just the right size to whip up cocktails and antipasti.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. Given the lack of privacy in this sleeping arrangement, we'd recommend a maximum guest count of two adults and one child.
*The balcony of this home overlooks a train track, so you may hear some noise during the day.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*This home shares a front entrance and a washing machine with one other apartment.
