Set in the peaceful seaside village of Skaleta, this villa earns its place on the Rethymnon coast without much effort. The infinity pool looks out across the sea, a quiet beach sits just 100 metres away, and the upper-floor main suite has a hot tub on the balcony to make the most of that view. A separate shallow pool means younger guests are well looked after too. When you're ready to venture further, the Venetian harbour and labyrinthine alleyways of Rethymno Old Town are a twenty-four-minute drive.

* Rethymnon town is around 13 km away, so you'll want a car to reach the wider range of restaurants, shops, and sights on offer. The nearest supermarket is a short walk at 250 m, and there's a bus stop 300 m away if you prefer not to drive every day.
