When you're ready to venture out, the Zingaro Nature Reserve's coastal trails are a fifteen-minute walk, and the village of Scopello's bars and restaurants are ten-minutes on foot.

* The beach below is a rocky pebble cove rather than a sandy beach – water shoes are a good idea, and the path down is not suitable for pushchairs or prams.
