Tucked into one of the 30As' coastal communities, this cottage is as well-positioned as it is comfortable. A sheltered front porch faces a canopy of pine trees – an easy place to let mornings drift – while a pergola-covered backyard makes alfresco dinners feel unhurried. Inside, the double-height living area keeps the whole group together without feeling cramped. Three bikes are on hand to reach the beach or follow 30A's scenic trails at your own pace, and access to the community pools and beach club is included, so there's plenty to keep everyone occupied beyond the cottage itself.

Home truths:
* Two guests will sleep in the semi-open mezzanine hallway, which has a single bed with a pull-out trundle. This setup is best suited to children and has limited privacy.
* You'll have access to the resort's beach club and swimming pools. They're shared with other guests. Every guest aged 5 and over will receive a wristband for community amenities and pools. This home is allotted ten wristbands.
* The beach is a bike ride rather than a doorstep stroll, so the three bikes provided here are useful.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
