Back at the house, a screened porch for alfresco dining and an upper-level swing porch give everyone space to decompress, and the bright, easy-going interiors are built for gathering after a long day outside.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the bunk bed in the bunk area.
* You'll have access to the on-site swimming pools here. They're shared with the complex's other guests. You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels.
* The beach is a short bike ride away rather than a walk, so if cycling isn't for everyone in your group, factor in a little extra travel time to reach the sand. The four included bikes make the trip straightforward for most.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
