Description Rooftop over Seagrove: Santa Rosa Beach

Three blocks from the Gulf, this Old Florida-style house is built for big gatherings and slow coastal days in equal measure. A private pool sits at its heart, the screened porch looks out over it, and the rooftop deck frames Gulf Coast sunsets at the end of the day. Seven bikes and a golf cart come included, making Seagrove Beach easy to explore – and the six-minute walk to Dogwood-Thyme beach access means the sugar-white sand is never far.

Home truths:
* The access road in front of the home is unpaved and rocky – it can feel like you've taken a wrong turn, so don't be alarmed when you see it.
* With five levels to navigate, you'll be using the stairs a great deal – worth bearing in mind if anyone in your group has mobility considerations.
* Guests have access to all areas of the home, apart from the garage and carriage house.
* Since the photoshoot, one of the bedrooms has been updated with two bunk beds and two trundle beds. We are awaiting new photographs of this space, but expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
