Pastel Magnolia

Tucked among sand pines and magnolias on the western edge of Grayton Beach, this house sits directly beside Grayton Beach State Park – quiet, nature-facing, and a world away from busier stretches of the Florida Panhandle. A private boardwalk leads to the beach, a ten-minute walk across Highway 30A, with emerald water and sugar-white sand at the end of it. Back at the house, evenings tend to migrate to the pergola-covered patio – grill going, fire table lit, outdoor shower ready for sandy feet. A six-passenger golf cart and four bikes make exploring Scenic Highway 30A effortless whenever you're ready to venture out.

Home truths:
* Your golf cart must be parked in designated motorised vehicle spaces within the community – not in the driveway. It's worth familiarising yourself with the community rules before you arrive.
* One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.
* Only one of the two community pools is heated, and only during specific windows – from 15th November to 2nd December, 16th December to 6th January, and during March spring break from 4th March to 20th May. Outside those periods, swimming may be chilly.
