Home truths:
* Bath towels and linens must stay at the home, so you'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels for days on the sand.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living space.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* Between May and October, sea turtle nesting season is in full swing on these beaches. You'll need to keep balcony and porch lights off at night and close the blinds to avoid disorienting hatchlings.
* Walton County rules mean any beach chairs, umbrellas, or personal items left unattended overnight – from one hour after dusk to one hour before sunrise – will be discarded. Plan to clear everything off the sand before heading in for the evening.
