Fire Pit on Dune Allen

A short walk from the sugar-white sands of 30A, this house is built for groups who want to make the most of a beach trip without the logistics getting in the way. The backyard delivers – heated pool, shaded dining, a gas fire pit, and a putting green – while five bikes and a golf cart mean you can cruise the scenic 30A bike path or head to Stinky's Fish Camp without a second thought. Three balconies and generous gathering spaces mean there's always somewhere good to land, indoors or out.

Home truths:
* Bedroom three sleeps four guests in two king-size beds, and bedroom six sleeps five people in a double-over-double bunk bed and a pull-out single bed. We think these rooms might be best suited to children.
* You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels – bath towels from the home may not be taken outside.
* Between May and October, sea turtles nest on the beaches here. You'll be asked to keep balcony and porch lights off at night and to draw the blinds – the local guidance is taken seriously, and red-filtered torches are available nearby if you need to venture onto the beach after dark.
* If you're planning to fish during your stay, anyone over the age of ten who isn't on a fishing charter will need a Florida Fishing Licence – these can be obtained through Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
