A classic coastal cottage tucked among mature oaks, this house is built for easy, unhurried Florida living. Days have a natural rhythm here – bikes and a six-passenger low-speed vehicle for exploring the neighbourhood, beach gear ready to grab and go, and access to resort-style pools and sunset bar when you want a change of scene. Back home, the covered porch with its bench swing is where evenings tend to drift, while the upper bunk room gives younger guests their own corner to claim.

Home truths:
* One of the bedrooms has two double-over-double bunk beds that can sleep up to eight people in total – we think this room might be best suited to children.
* Pack your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens here are for in-home use only and shouldn't be taken to the beach or pool.
* Your group will need wristbands to access the resort amenities and swimming pool – ten wristbands are allocated to this home, and all guests aged five and over will need to wear one.
